poor viewing angle

it is true that the Z1 device has poor viewing angle? because in many technical forum write about this device and if you change the screen angle and If you look at the side or bottom of the screen the colors became inverted. This device (z1) have a display with triluminos mobile technology, which first appeared in xperia z ultra, but the xperia z ultra have a good viewing angle using the triluminos mobile technology. The Z1 got this technology too but not have the same god viewing angle? Why? I dont understand this situation or the testers lie in the tech forums? I'm disappointed now, the xperia z1 is the best phone of this year but if the screen is not the same level as the z ultra screen discourages the purchase

I think you should check other blogs or news websites and see if they are comparing the Z1 with other phones regarding viewing angles or if they are comparing the Z1 with the Z or Z Ultra; I think that person perhaps was comparing the Z1 and a super AMOLED device. 

I still don't quite understand this view  angles issues, there are only certain angles that a user will truly use while operating their phone, but that's just my opinion. I think color richness, smooth video play back, etc are far more important than having an insane viewing angle

thx your answer, I waiting for a detailesd test of the Z1. I know that the screen is very nice, the colors are vivid. When the phone appears I will try it personally. I saw a video where the colors of Z1 beats the saturated colour of amoled display, I dont like the amoled but I would be happy if the display of Z1 look like the display of Z ultra

Uliwooly you are so right.

I almost never look from an angle greater than about 20° degree from direct vertical look on the screen if i hold the device in hands.

And even in car using the phone as navigation system ich have no problems with colour shift.

What is the use of having a phone readable tilted by 89° degree?
