Poor multitasking after 100 hours without rebooting

Hi guys,

i noticed memory leak bugs is not fully fixed in latest release.

If you use your phone for more than 90/100 hours system memory will keep from 500 Mb (freash restart) to 1,1 Gb (after 90/100 hours of use) and multitasking became awful and useless with home redraw etc...

The workaround is to reboot every 100 hours...

Obviously i tried factory reset, repair with PCC etc... but this is for sure a bug!

Please solve it.

Ciao

F.

@Carburano

are you referring to Google Chrome's memory leak?

@uliwooly do you think it's chrome related?

and if yes, do you know a solution to avoid this issue?

EDIT: i tried disabilng chrome and I will tell you if it will solve the issue. BTW i didn't have this issue on Oneplus One so I'm not sure it is Chrome-related.

Ok, memory leak is real... and it seems fixed in open source code: https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/kernel/commit/845b528e4f8145d3f13e5fcde8dd6e74592c4a5c
