i had recently updated my xperia J , but the WI-FI did not work any more 
can u help me to avoid this problem

What do you mean that wifi does not work?Can you still turn it on or you just cannot connect to a specific network?

no, it is not working anymore

Did you go to settings-wifi and drag the little circle to turn it on?

yes but it does not find any wi-fi network

Maybe you should just forget your wifi network and add it again.

i forget and rescan to find it , but no network is seen 
i tried it with two or three networks but my device still can not find any one

can i restore the old software of the device

With the information supplied, I suggest performing a quick restart to your router first and then a restart to the handset, once this has been done try connect the Wifi to the handset, if you have further issues, try using the link below for Wifi troubleshooting.
