Play store tell me there is insufficient space on the device but there is plenty of room

When I try and install anything from the playstore on my SONY Xperia L (Model C2105), I get the message “there is insufficient space on the device”.

I removed all the photos from the phone.

Android version: 4.2.2

Build Number 153.A.114

Checking storage it says:

Device memory:

Total Space: 1.57GB

Available: 150MB

Apps 1.15GB

Cached Data: 66.64MB

Internal storage:

Total space: 4.01 GB

Available: 3.29GB

Apps: 420MB

Pictures: 204MB

Can anyone provide advice how I can install\upgrade apps again wiht this block error. Thanks!

Right, back to the drawing board. Does anyone knwo why I am getting this problem when there is plenty of space?
