Play button glitch

Hello,

When i plug earphones (provided with my Z3) and press play button whole play function stop workinkg - music, video, youtube plays for 1/10 of a second and than pauses. I have found two ways of overcoming this problem. One is to restart the phone, second one is to stop walkman app from task manager. This bug appered with brand new phone. Walkman updates did not change a thing. 

It is sad to have a SONY phone with Walkman app that can not start playing music and glitches every time. Restarting, closing apps, clearing app data is not a solution because i would have to do it like 50 times a day.

Have you cleared the cache and data for Smartconnect which controls what happens when headphones etc are connected

Yes, i have done that. Without effect.

You could an app preferences reset - Settings then tap the 3 dots in the corner then Reset app preferences

Failing that it's a system repair

Performing a system repair using PC Companion will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Hello,

I have a Z3 with Lollipop. When i use long click (when phone is locked) on the stock headphones i hear message "wait" and information apper on the screen "Initiaziation". Then nothing happens it stays this way for as long as i let it. 

Seconf probem is that wih smart keys i can't use double or triple click, they just don't work. Single click is working just right.

Please help,

I am very close to moving back to my old iphone 4, whitch can perform voice cailing and every click type works.
