After upgrading my Sony Xperia Z3 to Android 6.0 version of the phone it has become impossible to work:
1. Phone ceased to hold the battery. Discharging 3 times more often!
2. Remove the Stamina mode and ultra Stamina.
3. Removed convenient mode without sound with the setting timing (using only the vibration mode is available volume buttons)
4. When outgoing calls after dialing the phone slows down 15 seconds, after which only is a challenge!
5. I can not log into the application "Yandex Disk." Writes: "The application is stopped Yandex"
6. It was not easy camera control:
A) button before the photo and video were there and did not have to make unnecessary movements
B) is up to the shooting mode you will reach so do not have time ... (((
C) of the photo editor removed the ability to add text. well, or well hidden.
I bought a year ago, could not get enough - get enough (((DISAPPOINTED !!! phone has become absolutely squalid !!!

Your phone is awake all the time and you have very poor signal reception.
Make a factory reset and software repair.
Looking back at other posts I think a factory reset and software repair may only be a temporary fix as the problem seems to happen again after a certain amount of time.
There's clearly something going in two areas:
1. Phones are being kept awake. Why is this happening?
2. Phones seem to be spending a lot of power on WiFi signal activity. Why is this happening?
Since this issue has only occurred since the update it is clearly a firmware issue.
Will Sony admit to it though? Unlikely (or only if they are beaten over the head with it a thousand times).
Is it possible for those having this issue on Android 6.0 / 6.0.1 to downgrade their phones to Android 5.1.1 and test if the issue goes away?
If it does, it will be well worth contacting Sony directly (via this page: http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaz3compact/contactUs/ ) and making sure to detail exactly the steps you have taken as well as linking them to this forum (maybe even your post in this forum).
That's really the only way Sony will become even remotely aware of this issue (this forum is not, unfortunately, an official means of support).
If the issue disappears with Android 5.1.1 and only rears its ugly head with Android 6.0 / 6.0.1 then it is clearly a firmware problem that Sony needs to resolve as soon as possible.
I upgraded to Marshmallow today (Android 6.0.1) - somewhat unintentionally - and I was completely unaware how different it would be. There are a few things I am unhappy with but first and foremost it has reduced the life of my battery greatly. Usually my battery lasts about a day and a half but it has been reduced 70% in the last 9 hours with no more use than normal. With Stamina mode apparently gone I can see nothing I can do to alter this.
Incredibly annoyed and disappointed, is there a way I can downgrade again?
Same here. The update is terrible.
We'll need more info to better assist you
charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%
settings > battery usage > take screenshots of:
1. the list
2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot
3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each
post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link
