Phone Stuck On Boot Screen Loop - HELP!

My phone has been stuck on boot loop all day. I have tried using the Sony PC software and all that happens is after it has finished, same boot loop problem again, only now the screen is completely unresponsive and I cant get the screen to unlock. Tried factory rest and hard reset, taking the sim card out, flattening the battery completely (not hard to do0 phone keeps getting worse every time. Sick of the firmware upgrades that cause battery drain, app lag and now this!! I bought a xperia tablet becuase I like the phone, and now the tablet is having similiar issues but becuase I got to that quickly I have resolved the issues, until the next software update 😞  How to fix it if I cant get into the phone and the software doesnt fix?

You need to perform a system repair which will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I did the repair process twice,  and the phone actually got worse. It has been sent back to Sony who typically have replied that even though the phone is under warranty the warranty is void as there are some scratches on the screen which happened when my husband triied to work out if the battery could be removed. The issue was there before the scratches! The phone has an extra screen protector on it. Sony wont repair the phone without me replacing the screen, which will cost $398.00, more than the replacment cost of the phone. I will likely buy another phone, just not a Sony!! My Xperia tablet also has issues, I had to a do a reset of that to get it functioning again, and there is still a lot of screen flickering during the operation of messenger, but I suppose if i send that back I will get some BS excuse from Sony. The charging port cover fell off about 6 months after I got it. no doubt that will be the cause of the tablets malfunction and will cost me several hundred dollars to fix. Th fix is simple, I just wont buy Sony again.
