This morning i updated my xperia s to Jelly bean and since i updated it, it won't start.
It gets stuck in a continous loop and shuts down and back on again.
I am unable to solve this problem from the SUS or sony pc companion because it is constantly turning off and disconnecting.
Can anyone help me out?
to turn your phone off completely you need to hold volume up and power button together untill you feel 3 vibrations in a row not 1 on it's own 3 will come soon after - The using either PCC or SUS repair your phone - Do not connect it yet - For PCC select Support zone then Ugrade Phone or Tablet then in blue select repair my phone and when asked hold volume down and connect your usb cable this will enter your phone into flashmode thus enabling you to rapair your phone - SUS is simalar except you select your phone from the list etc and follow the on screen instructions to reapair and when asked as above hold volume down and connect your usb cable
Thnak you, I've tried that but nothing happens when i try that either
If your phone is not staying in flashmode which I think is the Green light then it's normally because of 2 reasons - 1. Been a driver issue ie: Not installed or 2. Your Pc or Laptop does not like your phone been connected in Flashmode normally because of what I call a conflict which is possibly caused by an antivirus etc
If PCC or SUS is not working then your other option would be to manually flash your phone using flashtool and an FTF file - If you feel up to it details of how can be found here http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/05/30/install-jelly-bean-to-your-xperia-s-using-flashtool-tutorial
and FTF files can be found here http://www.xperiablog.net/forum/resources/categories/xperia-s.19/ You will have to sign up to be able to download the FTF files or if you don't feel up to it then I would be happy to remote network and help you do it.
