Phone software update issues.

Hello,

I have a Sony Xperia U.

Recentley my Sony Companion has been telling me that my phones software needs updating. I follow all the steps correctly, when it gets to connecting the phone to usb and holding down the volume keys, nothing happens.

I have tried a number of times and still no result.

Hi,

This is minor issue, just remove usb from PC and mobile and start inserting usb first to PC and mobile.

then press down volume button.

I would also suggest you press and hold the volume down key for 5 seconds prior to connecting to the PC as this assists the connection process.
