Hi,
Iam writing this letter in regarding replacement of Sony xa mobile since I
bought this product in Oct 10, from trivandrum within 1 month time my set
is having earphone issue it is not working. Also Che ked with the customer
service they suggesting for submissions of the set in service center for
possible repair, I am really passed off since my set would get repaired
with one months time.further they suggested me to mail so that their is a
possibility of replacement I am giving you the service center which near to
my location.
Need to post a request of replacement of the product. Since I am a Sony
lover from 1991 I used to buy product of Sony from. Sony mini to xa I
bought from Sony. This is the first time Iam having issue with Sony. If it
is not being replaced I might not trust this brand anymore.
Please consider this request as urgent.

I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your phone.
For questions regarding replacing your device I cannot assist you, in that case I can only ask that you contact your Local support or your retailer.
It it however possible that we can rule out this being related to hardware or not. How and when did you first experience the earphone not working?
Are you referring to the earspeaker in your phone? If so, could you test the earspeaker in Diagnostics? You can find this test under Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Ear speaker, can you hear the sound when starting the test? If not, is there any change if you reboot your phone to safe mode?
If the above doesn't help with sorting this out I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. Do note that this will reset your phone and you should make a backup before attempting this. I would, however, suggest that you test the ear speaker before restoring any data.
Should the software repair not help I would advise that you have your phone sent in to be examined by an authorized service centre. For information on local service and warranty procedures I recommend that you contact your local support team as these procedures can vary between markets.
