People can't hear me during a phone call

Hello, I got my z1 today brand new and I find that when I call people or receive calls from people that they get a "muffling" sound and that the volume is really low. I wonder if you could suggest what the problem may be, thanks in advance.

just untick speaker voice enhancement in call settings and check once

If any of the other suggestions, dont work. Try restarting the phone, it then works fine for a while & you will experience the problem again.

I have been through that. However, it works fine using the earphones.

In case if its similiar to the problem I faced, then the worst is yet to come. The internal speaker would completely stop working after some time - maybe in a couple of weeks or months.

I found this issue with my xperia L . the problem was on the recorder app which was installed.. Just make sure your app is not giving you the problem. Just disable the app test it then try it by reading carefully the instructions of the app and try it. If the app isn't the problem you better ask the buyer himself..
