cant bypass unlock screen

my Z1 is one day old, it switched it self off when I inserted the usb to pc.  When I tried powering up again, there was a lock screen. but I never activiated a lock screen and dont have a pin for it, so essentialy my phone is locked. 

Is there a way around it? 

Can I factory reset without  being able to get the UI?

I've seen that before and the problem was mcafee

if that's the case you will have to contact mcafee

or you can do a factory reset and delete everything on your phone

you are right, there is another security app run my McAfee on the phone...  

How do I factory reset without being able to go into the setting screen?

You have 3 options  (I would go with SUS option 3)

1) use MyXperia 

myxperia.sonymobile.com

or 

2) android manager 

https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

or 

3) SUS

Hola sony tengo un problema ayer cambie mi contraseña para bloquear el movil y se me ha olvidado, he llamado a mi compalia de telefono para resetearlo y me han dado algunos consejo como presionar un boton rojo donde esta la tarjeta sim o presionar el boton de encendido y volumen a la ver pero nada.. por favor necesito una solucion cuanto antes GRACIAS
