Can you please take me through the steps you are following to perform this function and also outline what kind of file you are trying to send?

Both pc and mobile that is Xperia zl are connected to same Wi-Fi network. Select Wi-Fi option in pcc a dialogue box will appear. At the same time I connect it to usb and go to settings- Xperia- usb connectivity- my network name will be listed and I click pair and disconnect usb. Once paired it will be connected through Wi-Fi.

I send files like mp3, videos and pics. All supported format through mediago. As soon as I send the above mentioned problem appears

It connects very well. But can't send any files from pc. It just creates a dummy file with same name and extension. This is the problem

what if you drag the file directly to

computer > Xperia Z > internal storage/SD card ?

Same Probelm Persists. Whoever has the authority to mark it as assumed answered, you better watch it. PROBLEM is NOT SOLVED. I wil just keep on Posting it. I am Generally not the one to complain rather search for a workaround. Been Facing Microphone issue. None of the Support team have replied. i don't think it's a difirent between USB 2.0 and 3.0 only diference is that 3.0 supports faster transfer by files thats kinda difference between them whille USB 2.0 is slower than 3.0 Slightly_smiling_Face
