PC & MTP problem

Hi

I want to connet my phone to PC and I use software ( Sony PC companion ) on phone but when MTP download end and want to install it this problem happen :

operation faild with 0*8007047F

The specified program is not a windows or MS-DOS program.

and I have windows 8 .

what should I do ?

windows 8 had compatibility problems before,try reinstalling the windows or the pcc.

thanks for answer but what is "the pcc" ? if your mean PC companion , I download it in this site but the same problem . when download MTP file and install it I've same problem .

If reinstalling PC companion did not help and the mtp file still did not solve the problem,reinstall the windows if you are ok with it.
