PC Companion / Updates - Problems

I got some problems with updates or with pc companion,

Im not able to update to 6.2.B.0.211, its out since long time but my Pc Companion dont show it for me, and i didnt get notification on my phone! Realy dont know why, i got the wi-fi issue and cant fix it.

But my Pc Companion shows that 6.2.B.1.96 is able but when i start to update it stuck on "prepare" for hours, so not able to finish it, and also didnt get notification for that on my phone!

Just dont say "use SUS". 

What is the poroblem here, my internet is OK, USB is OK, .... realy dont know what to do ? 

OK, lets say i use SUS, will i be albe to go back on PC Companion to update some new updates in future, any problems afther using SUS ?

What's the problem with SUS ?

It's a really good official software from Sony.

I suggest you use it. There shouldn't be any problem post updating using it.

PC Companion I suspect tries to overwrite the previous installation with minimal deletion which may sometimes be influenced by other apps that may cause it to crash. I always strongly recommend to do a clean installation with Sony Update Service even though it is a bit painful thereafter to update and reconfigure your apps thereafter.

I done the update with SUS, it was fast and clean im on 6.2.B.1.96 now.

But one bad thing is: wi-fi not working :smileysad:, hope that will be finaly fixed in new update!

Can you please elaborate? What happens when you are trying to use Wi-Fi?

In most of cases when I use wi-fi it connect for 1-2 seconds and disconect very fast, and repeat that again and again, ... some times it cant connect at all ! 

But I can connect to some places (example: cafe, school, office, ...etc) but to some other cant ! So its random it works at one place but does not at other !??

This was problem since i first time updated to JB (6.2.B.0.200) since june, but i didnt get 211. some ppl say even that didnt fix the problem.

This program is for connecting the Sony smartphone and PC - full of crap. This program is almost every time you connect your smartphone does not detect. Sometimes you need some time to reconnect the cable and it does not always help.
Just when you update the firmware you need to keep the volume key ))) This is super! As the old DOS. But I would like to remind that now 21, and not 80 years of the last century.
I am once again convinced that Sony knows how to make electronics, but in the software does not think at all, many times convinced of it.

We can only hope that new updates will fix all porblems, and maybe new version of pc companion. 

I got no Wi-fi = android dead.
