I updated my Xperia Go to ICS and it's not bad at all. Yes it's a little laggy but pretty tolerable. I wanted to know how to 'repair' the phone using PC
companion. This is the screen which came up..so does the repair involve downloading something off the internet and reinstalling the update?
no no not like that.
Connect your phone. Open PC Companion. on the upeer left side it'll check your phone software and it'll say your phone's software is up to date, click on that and this screen will appear.
then, you can see the blue repair phone button. click. you are done. 
then follow what i says.
