From time to time, new contacts and detail particulars are added into my Microsoft Outlook contact list, USB cable between computer and my Xperia Arc is connected, but new contacts and new calender setting cannot be be sync and updated to my Xepria Arc.
Setting \ Accounts & Ssync \Auto-sync whether is enable or disable, it cannot sync those data to my phone, but these datas can be found in my gmail's contacts and calender.
Is there any solution?
I have just synchronised the calendar using wifi and the missing items have appeared. The problem therefore is in the PC companion software/USB link between google mail and the handset.
James, let me know if your contacts and calenda are synced well now?
firstly, check your outlook settings on PC compan, is the contact folder are set correctly? after syncing finished, check the report, is there any fault reported? For claneder, have you set the sync period?
did you tried to sync directly from google/gmail/calendar to your phone? instead of using PC Companion
The sync was made using a wifi link via a computer without PC companion installed.

I have now nstalled myphoneexplorer and using this to sync from outlook to the handset. This is simpler than using a PC Companion sync, disconnecting and then using a wifi link and handset sync to gmail (home screem>menu icon>settings>acccounts&sync>manage accounts g> this opens a dialogue box with options Sync Contacts Sync Gmail Sync Calendar>touch the option desired.

All good things come to an end. Myphoneexplorer no longer finds all the appointments in Outlook. I bought CompanionLink and DejaOffice. Problem solved, but still a disappointing bug ridden phone - eg - intermittent screen freeze on incoming calls, inability to synchronise using vendor supplied software.
No wonder Sony is floundering.

please let me know your software verison, and step by step description about what have you done use PC compainion.
