From time to time, new contacts and detail particulars are added into my Microsoft Outlook contact list, USB cable between computer and my Xperia Arc is connected, but new contacts and new calender setting cannot be be sync and updated to my Xepria Arc.
Setting \ Accounts & Ssync \Auto-sync whether is enable or disable, it cannot sync those data to my phone, but these datas can be found in my gmail's contacts and calender.
Is there any solution?
I think I have found the solution, Xperia Arc WIFI must be turned on before full sync can be done, else phone will stays at its last status
settings -> account & sync -> make sure that
Background data and auto sync are selected
tap on gmail -> select all the things you want to sync
This does not fix the problem. Some calendar items exist in outlook calendar and gmail calendar, but are not transferred to the Arc despite repeated synchronisations.
how about using other calendars from the market?

You miss the point. The Arc does not synchronise with Outlook calendar. The synchronisation process fails between google and the handset. I don't want to have to download non-propietary software to rectify the manufacturer's error. Your suggestions might or might not be useful. What guarantee is there that I am not simply wasting my time downloading software which might not work? I am not in the business of testing fixes for Sony Ericsson bugs. My experience so far with this device is that it is a waste of time and money. At least it works as a telephone.
I understand your frustration, I don't know why Sony Ericsson modified the stock calendar, it should've included color and the ability to sync all that, but then again, this is a smartphone and one of the great things is to download apps to customize your phone, even if is to do something that a phone should be capable on handling.

Calendar. You'll be able to determine the direction of information flow, as well as the sync frequency. Staying on top of your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar events has never been easier! Here's some good information to know to help you get started with Google Calendar Sync.
Compatibility
Currently, Google Calendar Sync is only compatible with Microsoft Outlook versions 2003, 2007, 2010 and operating systems Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
Windows XP 64-bit Edition is not compatible with Google Calendar Sync at this time.
Third-party sync applications
We understand that many people like to stay connected with various calendar applications. Unfortunately, it's not recommended to use Google Calendar Sync when using third-party sync applications that sync between Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar. Please be aware that doing so may result in duplicated events or deleted data.
If you're currently using a product that syncs between Outlook and Google Calendar, please do the following before installing Google Calendar Sync:
Note: You can keep a back-up copy of your Google Calendar events by exporting your calendar data.
Syncing event reminders
Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar differ in the types of event reminders offered. While Google Calendar supports pop-up, email, and SMS reminders, Microsoft Outlook Calendar only supports pop-up event reminders. Accordingly, only pop-up reminders are synced between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar.
Also, Microsoft Outlook Calendar supports only one pop-up event reminder per event. So, if your Google Calendar events contain multiple pop-up event reminders, only one pop-up reminder will be transferred to your Microsoft Outlook Calendar events with this setting enabled.
Syncing events on secondary calendars
Google Calendar Sync will only sync events from your primary Google Calendar and your default Microsoft Outlook calendar at this time. If you've scheduled events on a secondary calendar in Google Calendar that you'd like to sync with your Microsoft Outlook Calendar, you can either move the event to your primary calendar or export your entire secondary calendar and import the events to your primary calendar.
Your post of google calendar sync is irrelevant. The problem is that the sync software drops some items out of the calendar in the transfer between google mail and the handset so the calendar becomes incomplete, and therefore unreliable. There is nothing apparently wrong with the transfer between outlook and google. PC companion software is not producing an error free transfer. The reason to buy a smart phone is to increase productivity, not to waste time hunting around for fixes for incompetence. Returning the phone to the point of sale and asking for my money back is the next step.
