paying for data ?

hi there.. i have a new phone and im still paying for internet data every day even if im not using the internet.. how can i set the wifi connection only?.. or is the problem something else ?..   thanks..

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I suggest that you go to Settings > Wireless & networks (More...) > Mobile networks > Mobile data traffic. If this option is marked, unmark it and you should not get charged for internet data.
