Pattern Trouble

Hello, First of all, I am really frustrated with the Sony J series phone. It is retarded, means, when I press a button it waits me up for sometime. Sometimes, the pattern does not unlock. You press a button it does not light up. By the time I swipe the correct button turn red. After trying several times and switching it off many times I succeeded.

Now, I have cancelled the pattern and there is no security of the phone. This is frustrating. I regret ever buying Sony.

Hallo saif.ullah, android phones services is entirely different, most of the applictions work on background as it is a multitasking smart phone.,,, some of the services which works on background may cause the phones to lag.. we will not find it on the regular usage as if we put the phone on idle and use it after some time the services will be refreshed and may cause a delay.. most of the android phones have the problem, i too find the same prob in my neo l. you can make factory reset and again install the app. if the app can be moved to sd card move it close the app properly. use any task killer and activate it to automatic mode some of the good task killer are,, ZDBOX, ADVANCE MOBILE CARE... etc i used the both and my prob has been solved...

Dear Raju, Thanks for your inputs. Honestly speaking, I AM NOT HAPPY. Not with your anwer, but with the phone. I have tried as many as 30 times and then failed in a span of 30 minnutes. You press the first button it does not ligth, then following one is red. If this phone is doing any work behind the screen it is not capable of handling the works. After 30 minutes, 30 trials how would you feel? So the blame on Andriod is only an eyewash. Secondly, The phone practically has no application at all. If I need to delete, uninstall and stop any it would be gmail, facebook and google services. Then what is left? Because of such slow speed I have put all of them on manual sync mode. Therefore, your explanations do not stand as there is no ground. I am unsatisfied.......that is the bottomline.

Finally, thank you for your advice on task killer. I will try them if I can download.

Cheers

Saif

First of all, I would not recommend that you use task killers. These tend to increase the battery usage and in many cases cause random restarts, due to the task killer closing important processes in the phone.

Second, if the phone is this slow, I'd recommend that you repair the phone software via PC Companion since it's obviously not working well. Download and install PC Companion from the link below.

Samuel,

I have done that. No improvement. I have now reasons to believe that Xperia J is a defective model. Sony should compensate me.

Well, if the phone still behaves the same you should send it in to a service center for repair. Contact your local Xperia Support for more information:

Sam,

I have done that. Not much of improvement. The set cannot handle it. Or Jelly Bean is too fast a system for Sony. Please advise how I can downgrade to other OS.

Can you please give me the address of the service centre in Bangladesh. I cannot find one online. I am quite annoyed to be a customer of Sony. Previously, I was a iPhone customer. Looks like from the frying pan I have jumped to an oven.

Shall remail grateful for your help.

Unfortunately I don't have any information regarding local service centers. Contact the local support via the link in my previous post to get this information.

Dear Raju,

Are you a user of Xperia J? If not which one?
