Hello, I wan't to inform about one of the most worst experience i have ever faced with Sony. Firstly let me tell you, i am a proud owner of Sony brands starting from 3D LED TV, Home theatre system, Sony Cybershot DSC HX200 Semi SLR, Sony Playstation, Sony VAIO and finally and unfortunately a Sony mobile phone (Xperia M4 Aqua dual). I purchased this phone on June 4th 2015, and started facing issues from January 2016 after the updates in Dec. Phone started heating up, battery draining faster and mobile just freezes when i restart. Somehow i still managed to use it thinking it will be fine after uninstalling few apps and games. I did the same and for some extent it was fine. Recently on May 31st when i was in Manali, my phone just stopped working and froze for the whole day till the battery was drained out. Next day when i turned it on again it turned on as one of the miracle and i returned to Bangalore on 3rd of June when my phone started acting crazy again. It just turned off suddenly and when i tried to switch on again i could see a dark blue screen and once it loads up to main screen i see the home screen but not able to type anything or use my touch panel.I could see my mobile ringing but i don't see the incoming call on screen. I decided to go for Sony Center where i purchased the phone from. I went on Saturday (4th of June) as i have weekly offs only on Sat and sunday. I reached there by 5PM and the shop keeper tells me to visit the Sony authorised service center which will take almost 2 hrs for me to reach there (Mathikere to Koramangala) and the service center closes by 6PM. This is the last day of my warranty and i was helpless. As next day was Sunday service center was closed and went on Monday sharp 10AM when it opens. That is today (6th of June 2016). Now the Service center tells me that they will consider it was out of Warranty. So, how mean and crazy is that when you can't accept a day for your customer service. So, if that's the case and the customer has issues with the phone at night 11PM and that is the last day of his warranty and next day is Sunday what you expect the customer to do? You expect the customer to pay around 6K to 10K for the product which you did not manufacture properly? The same specification phone is being sold at cheaper price than Sony by other companies, but still we decide to go with Sony for the trust on brand and this experience is one of the worst experience that i have had with Sony. I mean when you have a weekend in between how do you expect customer to go and submit his phone in the service center. I really need help or it is not very difficult for me to create a noise and put this issue to respected.
