Does anyone know what the padlock on the status bar is for or what it is?
Hi. As far as I know if you pull down the notification screen you should see that you have an update available...usually for something which you have downloaded from the Market...that is what the padlock icon symbolises. Regards, Scott
Yup, what Scott said. It indicates that there is an update available for an app you downloaded from the Android Market.
