Offline Maps Fail to Load

This is the fourth time that I downloaded these maps on my phone for

offline viewing. After some time, they would fail to load and would require

you to download them again. The other option is to delete it.

The frustrating part is they fail to load during the time when I needed them

the most.

It shouldn't have been termed "OFFLINE MAP" if it wasn't viewable offline.

Has anyone experienced this?

Was there anything that I did for this to happen?

I am not sure where to ask, google or this forum, but I hope there is any help here.

that's a google issue, go to settings > apps > all > maps > uninstall updates and clear everything > restart your phone > open the play store > update maps > try again
