number of cell won't show up ! ! !

Hi,,,   When I come about the "about phone" --- "phone status" --- " My cellphone number " ,  it says " UNKNOW ";  please any info about how to fix this glitch would be greatly appreciated ! ! !

This might sound strange but it does work...

Take your sim card out of your nice new shiny smart phone and pop it into an old style Sony or Samsung, find My Number in the settings menus on that phone, edit and type in your number, save.  Then stick it back in the X10 and it should be there.
