Notifications Tone

Does anyone has a work around / fix for the notificationtone not playing issue yet on ICS 544 build, without restarting the phone ????

Try repairing the phone with SUS or PCC.

Eh... Why are there two different ways of repairing/updateing, SUS & PCC? It's rather confusing. Which one should one use?

You can update or repair with both of them.PC Companion lets you update without checking the software with your phone turn off,and repairs also with backup possibility on the moment.The Sony update service checks the software with the phone turn off and offers the possibility of reinstalling the same software,but the backup must be made before.It is your choice.You should know that update service is known to having less bugs when installing new software or firmware.

I have ICS (6.1.B.0.544) and I don't have notifications tone problem's (silent, not playing...). I don't turn off my phone for a weeks (because I use alarm) and I am not agree that bug in FW because it's working OK all the time !

Try repairing the phone with SUS without SIM card in phone with "Factory data reset" before and after reparing...

I know this might sound irrelvant, but do u have WhatsApp installed on ur device ??

I think that's what's causing the issue
