Notifications during phone call

Hi,

How do I mute notifications during a call? I cant find that option on my Z1.

Other Android Phones have it here: GERMAN einstellung->anrufeinstellung->alle anrufe->signaltöne beim anruf

Which proably is in English: Settings -> Call settings -> All calls -> Nitifications during call

I want to concentrate on my phone calls again and not on my mail, sms or any other bulls* i get during a call.

I cant set it in the apps. It's the standard sms app, standard mail app etc.

Also on other Androids:

call button/ menu/ call settings/ call alert/ uncheck alerts on call

Also not present on my Z1

I don't think there is a way to do that. Try disabling call waiting option, but that will disable notifications for incoming calls too while you are on another call.

All other Androids (from other vendors) have this option!

And it's really important. Even the person I'm talking too can hear the notifications. Thats REALLY annoying.

I think I will buy another phone then.

Seems a bit silly to interrupt phone calls or media unnecessarily, especially without giving an option to mute them.

it's not silly - its bull**bleep**. whoever took the option to mute away should be fired.

it makes the phone completely useless for business. maybe some kiddies like it to get notified when they make calls (if they even make calls). i dont.

I have the same problem and if its not resolved soon i'll go back to an iPhone!!!
