Notification coming in Chinese Language

Recently thoght of changing my brand to Sony and bought an xperia E3 last week as my first sony mobile.

However I am facing an issue related to call/sim notifications.

After the call, the call summary,  output of sim services such as *111#, *121#, *141#  all are coming in Chinese language.

How to change it back to English in E3.

please note that,  when I put the same sim into my old mobile (non-sony) it is displaying properly in English.

As far as I know, this is something that is pushed from the operator and nothing that is stored in the phone. Thereby, I suggest that you contact your operator for further assistance in this matter.

                 i am also facing the same problem, i brought sony xperia E3 a month back nd getting notifications and after call summery in chinese language. i contacted the dealer they told me to contact the network provider, i did ths also bt network providers told mee that prob is with the hans set so contact sony, i have contacted the sony service center and they informed me that, dis problem is due to the softeware update, since dis hanset is first time launched in india and still english language for notification is not updated yet and they told mee that with in a week u ll get the software update from sony after dat udate u ll get the notification in english,, bt still nw i didnt recive any updates from sony, when i check for updates in update center its showing that ur mobile is updated with the latest software. its very difficult for mee to check the balance and also data usage., i dont know y sony is not taking any action.

Dear Sony Team,
I am facing the same issue. (NOTIFICATIONS IN CHINESE). It's been 6 days with my new xperia E 3, and I have tried all possible ways to change the notification language. But failed to do so as I could not locate the option.
Request your help ASAP, as this is really irritating.

which mobile r u using xperia e3 single sim or dual sim ?? can u also please mention ur latest update version number ??

In case you still have this issue, please update the software in your phone from Settings -> About phone -> Software update or by using PC Companion or Bridge for Mac. This issue is fixed in 18.4.C.2.12.
