Deleting e-mails from phone but not PC

Hi there

When going through e-mails, is there a way of deleting an e-mail just from my handset, but ensuring the e-mail remains in my inbox when I log onto my PC?

At the moment, it seems that when I delete an e-mail from my phone, it also deletes it from the actual account online, when I'd rather this didn't happen because it was an e-mail I needed to deal with.

Email-settings(3 dots)-tap on your account-incoming settings and change to POP3 instead of IMAP.

Thanks. I've looked here. Under 'Incoming settings', there is no mention of POP3 or IMAP.

It seems that you need to remove the email account and set it up again with POP3.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Make sure to find out what the POP3 settings are, as you wont be able to setup the POP3 email without them. In most cases these settings can be found directly within your email providers help sections.

I am using IMAP yahoo,which is not that hard to set up. Jake,to set up POP3 from IMAP do you need to remove the email and set it back? I have read somewhere it is needed.

@alexdon That is correct. You need to remove the account and add it again with the POP3-settings.
