NOT SURE

I WOKE UP TO MY EXPERIA S SHOWING THE RED BATTERY ICON, SO I PLUGGED IT INTO MAINS AND ITS BEEN CHARGING ALL DAY WITH RED RED LIGHT  , BUT WHEN I TRY TO SWITCH IT ON IT KEEPS SAYING (SONY THEN EXPERIA) ITS DRIVING ME NUTS NOT BIENG ABLE TO USE MY PHONE .. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO? ITS NOT GONE ONTO THE GREEN CHARGE LIGHT ?

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 3 hours

thankyou ive tried this allready throughout the day , its now showing the green battery on main screen but still flashing sony then experia . whats wrong with it?

ive just re conected to mains and held power and up volume for ten seconds and the green charge light is back on and  showing the large green battery is charged at 3/4?  its been charging all day
