I'm trying to find out the main difference betwee ICS and Gingerbread for an xperia go
Problem is i have an xperia go on ICS, which out of the box is lightning fast and supersmooth but for the second time in about 8 months it is starting to get slow and super laggy again. Only solution so far is to do a total reset with pc companion and put the software on it again. As i am not really looking forward doing that every 3 to 4 monts i was looking for other options.
As reported JB should be out, but it isnt. Al least not in the netherlands (didnt find any dutch Go user with JB). So i i'm thinking about reverting back to gingerbread. I know there has been other treads about it but i cant really find any answers.
My question is what are the big differences? Dont really care about the looks and feels, i've read that gingerbread probably is better with battery life and is faster overall so that would be a pro. but i've also read that gingerbread cant record 720p video's? Thats one thing i could find, but anyone else knows about mayor changes that i should take in consideration when downgrading to gingerbread?
