I've had my M4 Aqua for roughly a year now and a few weeks back it lost connection to internet through Wifi. It said I was still connected to the network but I had no internet. The only way for me to get it back working was to restart my phone and everything went well for about a week and then the phone would randomly restart itself. As time went on it took longer and longer for it to restart and after a while it would not be able to get out of the "Sony, Xperia" screen. It would take atleast 30 minutes for it to finally start but now even that's over with.
The phone is getting really hot and it doesn't get past the first screen anymore. I've tried to reset it with Power button + Volume up but when I try to start it up again it's still the same.
Is there anyway to fix this or is it a new phone that's the solution? It seems like this is a common problem on the M4 so why hasn't anything been done about it?
Oh and the problems started after the last Android update.
Repair the phone with XC and report back
Alternatives on How to backup Xperias
So I downloaded and installed XC but it seems to be unable to find my device...
Yes @Uliwooly. The light goes on and it starts to charge.
@Uliwooly
