REPAIR M5 OUT USING MY COMPANION . AFTER MY TURNED FINISH AS DIRECTED AND ANY ANDROID ALWAYS STARTED OFF. I THOUGHT TO REPAIR VIA COMPANION BUT ALREADY RE can not be read. I HAVE USED UP POWER + VOL AND POWER+VOL DOWN BUT NOT YET later be read. THEN USING SMALL KEY ADDITION TO SD CARD BUT STILL ONLY illegible. COMPUTER ONLY IF plug into ILLUMINATED RED LED LIGHT .... HELP

I want to make sure that I understand your question correctly. Are you trying to perform a software repair using PC Companion but you can only see the that the notification LED is red, is that correct?

PC Companion is no longer supported since we have a new program called Xperia Companion which is available for both Windows and Mac.

Try performing the software repair using Xperia Companion instead of PC Companion, and make sure that the phone is turned off and not connected to your computer when you start with the repair.

I HAVE TO TRY XPERIA COMPANION AND FOLLOW INTRUCTIONS BUT KEEP THE SAME PROBLEM......NOT DETECT......

I WAS USE RESET BUTTON IN SIM CARD SLOT BUT SAME PROBLEM

I WAS PUSH POWER + VOL UP SAME PROBLEM.....

Hello again, thanks for the update.

When you are performing the software repair do you get any error messages along the way? If you do, please take a screen shot of these or get back to me with the error code and the message.

If you get to the step where you should connect your phone to the computer again, please try and use another USB-port on your computer. If you are using a PC try with one of the USB-ports on the back of the computer and not the ones on the front panel.

thanks for your care.....

im was using 2 computer but keep it that....

im not can see code because mobile black screen only....

before problem, mobile starting android 27 of 258 and restart again....

after 2 restart mobile not can power on.....

If you can't perform the software repair and you have tried 2 different computer I'd recommend getting in touch with your Local support in order to get assisted with having your phone sent to an authorized service centre.

They will also be able to answer any and all questions regarding service routines and warranty.

I was brought to SCM (Local Services) but need 49 day.... im dont have mobile now...

I recently mobile bought a month
I feel now is not the same sony products used to be.......

Unfortunately I can't answer for local cases, since I am situated in the Nordic region.

Accepted service times and service routines vary between markets and are handled at a local level for more information about this I refer you to contact your Local support team since they are the experts on your market.
