No video playback after PC-Connection

Hello,

I got some music videos on the phone, wich are running fine. After connecting and reconnecting the phone to a pc, the videos are not be played. "Unable to play the video"...

Only a shutdown and restart of the is fixing the problem. What's wrong?

What format are the videos and what are you using to play them?

They are all in .mp4 format. I choose a video in the Album app, Movies app or QuickPic  and double klick. Play with "movies" is  presetup.

So mp4 videos are not working on the PC after the reconnecting or on the device?

On device... Videos on the phone are running, I connect the phone to my pc and after unplugging the phone from the computer no video is played on the phone until I do a restart of the Xperia...

Strange,there might be an app acting up when you plug the phone to your computer.

possible, but I don't know, which it should be... Sony PC Companion is installed, but it can't be the reason

I mean apps from the device,not PC.Boot the device in safe mode and connect like that:

Sorry, but how do I boot the phone in safe mode?

I have left a link.You can do this: press longer on power button,tap longer on Power off and tap ok.
