No sim no service

Hi I'm new to this, my phone, don't recognise my sim card, it says no sim no service,and when I take out the sim, it says sim removed, my phone is only 2 months old. Thanks

could you test a brand new SIM card? is the SIM card the correct size or did you trimmed/cut the SIM card?

Hi,

I agree with uliwooly, try a brand new SIM-card. When a SIM-card is mounted and you restart the phone, are you asked to enter PIN-code or similar? If you look at the signal strength/notification bar, do you have a "X" or some info that a SIM-card is not mounted?
