No service

Hi, I have owned a Sony xperia J for about 5 months now with no problems what-so-ever, all of a sudden a few days ago I lost signal in a well known area for no service, I have been in many different places since then all of which I used to have at least 3 bars of signal, but the phone has said 'no service' now for the last 4 days and I have tried turning on and off the airplane mode several times and let it run out of battery completely and still it says no service, this is very infuriating and would be very gratefull if anyone can help !!!!

- Check if other antennas work fine (GPS, Wifi)

- Try to force 2G signal

- If you can try a sim card of another carrier

- Try to boot the phone in safe mode and check if issue is the same

• Turn off the device.
• Press and hold down the power key  until the phone vibrates.
• Wait until the Xperia™ logotype disappears.
• Press and hold the volume down key. The device then restarts in safe mode.
• To exit safe mode, restart the device.
