Lets do this very slowly Kamal.What is the topic of the posting that you chose to reply to. Can you please read it. It says 'ICS FOR XPERIA U COMING END OF THIS MONTH', isnt it? It even says that in ALL CAPS isnt it?

How have you added value to this conversation by replacing ICS with Android 4.0,and Xperia U with Xperia U st25i?

Did you even bother to follow the link in the first few posts to the actual Sony blog,that mentions what it says here 'Comes at end of month'

Do you guys even read before you post questions????? Or do you expect an answer like Sept 26 3:30 pm, and will keep asking until someone gives u an answer like that. Such an answer will never arrive,because NO ONE gives an OS update date like that. So please let it rest guyss..this is annoying.

dudes...patience is the need of the hour..restlessness wont tickle these sony developers...so better wait for the last week of this month..note the word "this month"...and then we will savour this beast..

What's is even more intrigating in a "sociological way", is the behaviour of some of this forum's contributors who are litteraaly begging Sony : "Please please pleaaaaaaaaase Sony, release ICS !!"

As if this update would bring huge enhancement to their little Xperia U, or they're expectong something amazing.

Right, it's more a psychological reason to have the latest version even though the improvements won't be much of a deal. Teenagers and kids are fans of this because it's good to show to your friends that you're up to date :smileygrin: otherwise it could be bad for your image.

Well if i am comparing sg3 and htc one x it is only with its equivalent xperia ion. even the ion comes with android 2.3 upgradable to 4.0 What do you say to that. I think a high end phone like ion should come with 4.0 out of the box at this point of year.

And coming to the update service of samsung or htc, i am no big  fan of their phones, but abandoning galaxy w which hardly went any popular is not at all surprising. It is just the way sony did with their xperia play.
