Xperia U ICS bugs   - keyboard acts wildly sometimes -Fast capture refuses to work -Bravia engine not working (i unlocked bootloader before)

the statements is mine and not his, no need to say sorry for being rude. many of us has a problem here, i dont even have my phone now, my phone has been delivered to them, do you have your phone with you? if you have it i think you are luckier than me. and they have been said that it will be for the end of the month so just expect the worst maybe it will be on september 30. im just saying that it wont become faster with the complains, maybe thats an advice to all users not to frustrate themselves by rushing to that, like if you expect it on september 30 and it is released earlier than that then you will be happier with the result. sorry also for my comment. also, i think that not all the problem will be solved by that ICS, maybe if you expect that you will be more frustrated too if the result is negative. again im also sorry for my comment.

Maybe they are working on Jellybean instead of ICS ? :smileygrin: That's why there's no ICS for our phone... propably Sony's version of ICS for XU is allmost ready, all icons and other elements of UI wer done when they worked on ICS for XP and XS. The only thing to do for XU is optimisation for lower amount of RAM.

Yes. I had a great look already. I just love the way how Samsung abandoned Galaxy W, released last year or how HTC throws buggy updates to the Desire phones.

What you pay is what you get. Your Xperia U is only fractions of the price of their flagship phones.

No, the attacks won't stop, the buying will. And these are not attacks these are frustrations for buying what it used to be a good brand and now it's some low-end brand. Tell me why Sony isn't in the first 5 smartphones sellers, tell me why do you have so many complaints about your products (including expensive ones) worldwide, tell me why Sony has the higher delays in introducing new Android versions. What you pay is what you get you say, so what about those customers who have issues with Xperia S? Tell them that too. What is the right price for a flawless Xperia ? 1000 USD 2000 USD? I mean we paid 200 euro and should we expect a low-end smartphone or what? We should be happy to have Sony written on the front? We paid 200 euro and we are supposed to remain without battery from 40% in the middle of nowhere? We paid 200 euro and the signal suppose to drop when you need it the most? Please. Or you should have said that : hey, this costs 200 euro but you better have a backup phone because you never know...Nobody said that it's easy to write a firmware, but look at the talks about all models including expensive ones. Do you see happy people there? Did you guys tried the camera? Would you buy a Sony (not Huawei or ZTE) which makes pictures like that - I put an example in a previous post -  or makes some awful videos? How would you feel to take a great photo and then to see that it's out of focus or grainy? Sony which makes good video cameras and TVs they don't make clothes or Coca Cola so they should know what they're doing. Samsung and HTC have 10s of models, and maybe they have 1-2 with problems. Look at Sony what is the percentage of flaws. We're not guilty because some guys don't make their jobs right. See Nokia also with their false ad.

So have some understanding about those complaints. In the end we could buy another brand but Sony should sell to survive, it's your best interest to make things better.

I'm worried about you.

Xperia S has issues with camera focusing and a yellow tint display. The camera has a solution while the yellow tint display can be replaced by warranty.

Even so, Xperia S is still much cheaper than your favourite S3. I'm very sure Sony's developers are working real hard to fix issues relating to the Xperia U.  Don't make it as if look Sony phones has super high amount of flaws. I'm sure Xperia S has comparable amount of flaws to the S3.

While I don't understand how minor issues can somehow destroy the usability of the phone for some of you, I'm 100% against people complaining, shooting vulgarities and claiming that Sony has unusually high percentages of flaws in their phones.

Then again, I hope the attacks on Sony stops here. I'm sure the developers are listening to your problems and working hard to fix it.

iam not excited about the ICS update as in all sony phones it always hangs

We like SONY because its Design !!! SONY has a Powerful Hardware but it has some Problems in Softwares. I hate Samsung because it just stealing and using other Company's Designs and ideas !!! I haven't any idea about HTC btw. I like SONY but if i had more money,i bought Apple's Phone. I like iOS because it programed for certain hardware and full supported by Apple's devices ! Android hasn't any certification for devices.
Some Problems get fix in ICS certainly,like GPS ! and SONY knew about all U's Problem,so they try to fix them before release it.but we shouldn't expect a bug free ICS update
