You are missing the point!!! why should you flash a software in your phone and risk loosing your warranty when sony is supposed to provide you the  updates !!!! besides there is no ftf file available for India....

You don't loose the warranty by flashing official firmwares. You don't even need to unlock boot loaders or root. These are not custom roms but the genuine file updates. All I am saying is because there is no planned release for India, then this is your only and safest option at this time to get the 4.2.2 without rooting/unlocking bootloaders. Of course you shouldn't have to flash but the update also depend weather your network will push them through. Another good reason to flash is to replace network branded firmware with unbranded firmware which will mean you wont have to wait for your network to push them Winking_Face

Same step you need to follow,

Search for "

"How to manually update, downgrade, root 2013 Xperias"

Just as easy to do. Another great thing about flashing, is that you can still update afterwards via sony pc companion or through the phone via ota as you would normally.

While everybody talking about the problems and smoothness after the 4.2.2 update(244) we are still on 4.1.2 (253) for C6603 LTE variant here in india and waiting for the update Slightly_frowning_Face

What a service sony India, great job I am proud owner of C6603, soon moving to Galaxy S4.

But one thing i liked about this phone is, its hardware its really very good phone, but because of poor service of sony india they are loosing market.

Hey Friends,

Have you observed one thing? Whenever you are requesting the update details through xperia care(mail),

We are getting mail stating that they dont have update, but have u noted, the mail was sent by some other person

but at the end (signature) is Ligin Saji,

This means they are just forwarding the same mail, they dont care.....
