No 4.1.2 12.0.A.2.245 firmware update for my Xperia SP C5302

Hello,

From past few days I am trying every option by which I can get my Xperia SP updated to new firmware. I even had reset my phone. I have tried PC companion and SUS but I haven't still received any notification about this new firmware. PC Companion and SUS are saying that my phone is up to date whereas I have xx.0.A.1.84/87 into my phone still.

Kindly advise.

I am not sure if your country has been released this firmware...but in india people are getting this update but not me...

I am from Kazakhstan and my phone update is 12.0.A.1.284 ,  PC Companion and SUS are saying that my phone is up to date whereas. What should i do?

Yes, you're right. In CZE, as I know from some different local forums, nobody got new version yet. We have to wait...

I hope it will not be until on JB 4.3 at the end of the year, as Sony promises

I live in Croatia, and my Xperia SP was updated to 1.257 in July (when I bought it).

Like many of you, I still can't access the 2.245 update.

However, by owning Sony Ericsson WT19i, I have learned about the existence of SI number which can be found on the back of the phone once you remove the plastic cover. It seems that certain SI numbers receive the update before others.

My SI number is: 1272-2533

I hope sooner than later someone from officials will throw some light on this. As far as I know it seems since I have .284 that is the only reason I haven't yet received the update. In india .257 was last official firmware whereas I have. 284 whuch is global firmware. Here another question arises rhat why my handset has .284...

I am seeing loads of people complaining after updating their device to new firmware. I guess I am lucky I haven't yet updated to this new firmware (luckily I haven't yet received the update notication)...lol...

I give up on trying to update my mobile phone to the latest verstion of firmware. I'll wait for Android 4.3. My Xperia SP suffers from wi-fi range issue and it is sad to see that my old Sony Ericsson WT19i handles wi-fi connections better than Xperia SP (both were put next to each other on the table). However, when I read about problems people have with .245 I decided to skip this version of firmware.

It seems a wise decision skipping this update XperiaNow. Although we haven't yet received the update...

Alright, finally I have received a new firmware update and I am happy that instead of having a bugged firmware I have got stable one straightaway.

I haven't found any bug till now which people are mentioning here and there. If you have any bug you should try to RESET your phone.
