no 2G/ 2G connection after a few days running

Hi there,

after updating mit Xperia Go to JB (6.2.A.0.400) the phone lose his network connection after a few days sometimes hours.

The connection notification is at normal mode and also the provider will be shown.

No one can call me and also I can't call!

I do a repair of the system. So normally there should be all o.k.

What can I do to fix this issue? With this failure the phone ist really useless!

double check the APN settings also do not install any

antivirus

taskillers

task managers

battery apps

ram apps

or uninstall them if you have any of them on your phone

restart your phone and try again

Hi there,

after I set the APN to the correct settings with the automatic download I lost the connection to my phone provider after 1 day.

So the problem is not fixed.

Are there other possibilities? Are there also other users with this problem?

With this failure the phone is useless Angry_Face

check my first post on this thread, if you have any of those apps, uninstall them. if you have a SIM lock pin remove it, also you could enter them manually.

In my second answer i wrote that I don't use such apps. The phone is in the factory state!

So this can't be a problem. I tried it with setting to GSM only, after some hours...... no connection to my phone provider.

Are there any other possibilities. I also tried a factory reset, did a Software Update, thried to repair it with PCC...

Is there a bug in the JB Update? If yes, how can I get ICS back?

there are 2 alternatives to downgrade

1) contact your local Sony repair center

or

2) flashtool

Hello again,

after the last useless answers i send the phone back for repair. Meanwhile i used my old phone, the whole time no problems with calling or receiving calls.

After repair ( they haven't found something, I expected the answer, because no rpeair center will do test over one or more days Anguished_Face , the failure is still there Angry_Face Now I send back the phone a second time, just habe a look what happens. Maybe they are able to find a failure at the second trial.

If the failure will exists after that, there is no possibility, only send back and change to another phone brand.
