NFC transfer only uses bluetooth?

Does the NFC transfer only trigger the bluetooth transfer to other phone and not Wi-Fi Direct?

Transferring any content to any phone other than Xperia via NFC not possible?

NFC is just the technology to initiate the connection, no files are being transferred using NFC. But NFC can make file transferring easy by automatically start a file transfer via Bluetooth between two devices.

Yes i understand. But does it support initiating Wi-fi direct as a file transfer rather than bluetooth?
