What's the difference between a rooted xp and non-rooted xp?

im curious.
i'd like to learn about rooting and try it in my xp.
can anyone give me a link on how to root my xp?
by the way, im on JellyBean 4.1.2 using the new update : 6.2.A.1.100

s .. its awesome but need to unlock bootloader for flashing custome kernel.. and an easy way of rooting is on the way for our device with JB build .. so wait for tat :smileyhappy::smileyhappy:

if u want a custom rom like the one mithun mentioned and installed in his device, u need to unlock ur bootloader which voids the warranty of ur device.. http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/unlock-bootloader/ go here to unlock ur bootloader..

an easy method means a software is going to come, which has been there for xperia p for ICS not for JB. conncet ur device to ur pc and run tat sofware , which ll root ur mobile in few mins.. as of now that software of JB is under construction :smileysilly:.. now u can easily root by flashing a ICS rom and then rooting it .. and again u can install the pre rooted JB .. go here and check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250101 read it ??? feels a big procedure ... so wait until develpers give u an easy rooting toolkit
