I suggest that you try to reset the phone at first, if you didn't do it after you updated the phone software. We do not recommend downgrading to a previous version.
I didn't mean restart, I meant reset. Meaning performing a master reset of the phone (settings > backup and restore > reset). If the phone is slow after an update this is a good thing to do.
This can be edited in Smart Connect where you can set up events based on when different accessories is connected.
