New update for live with walkman

The update has not been released yet, it might take some weeks to reach to us!!!

why can't these sony people are not showing any care towards there w8 and x8 users. I can't beleive this, i was not knowing that sony is so much careless about there customers...:smileysad:

Its not that friend!! See things from different prospective!!

like samsung and htc, they have cancelled the update of most of its device and alowed update to only its high, top spec devices, now come to sony, it has managed to update (although buggy) almost all of its devices to ics, and regarding x8 and w8, they have very low specs, and even if they get update, they might just freeze at a point, so, its safe for those devices to remain in stock

But these phones runs smoothly without any problem with 2.3 android version(unofficialy updated by rooting)..... What would you say about this thing? if we manage to root correctly and we can get update higher version of android... I think then XDA developers are bettter than Sony....!

by rooting, you might have removed many boltwares thereby freeing up your memory, but official update consist of many unwanted apps that makes the phone really unstable!!

I'm sorry, i re-read the whole thread and saw the update was for LWW!

Cool! I hope this fixes the ICS bugs. I hope we get it ASAP!
