New firmware (10.1.1.A.1.253)

Hi Sony Team,

Just updated with the latet firmware. Noticed that these are the changes in this new firmware.

a) white balance

b) soft keys and nav bar changed to black

c) an option to disable the notification light

d) updating NFC

But beside these new updates. What are the other update in this firmware and how to get best picture with the white balance control under Display setting.

By the way, I have a problem with the soft keys and nar bar still appearing at the Lock Screen. Eventhough I have tried to fix this problem with PC companion but the problem still coming back after few days. Will you guys be solving this problem any soonest?

GeoffH: I notice you've posted that you've flashed the new firmware yourself - would you be so calm if that option was closed to you?

I reckon you'd be throwing your rattle out of the pram along with every other unbranded owner not willing or technically able to use flashtool

Bottom line - Sony have broken the unwritten law that unbranded>branded when it comes to updates.

I've never unlocked my bootloader but as I understand if you download flashtool beta 4 it comes with a locking FW but you need to read up on it

Try to download the flashtool beta 6, and you will see the boot sign, it is actually very simple process, just search xda for instructions

Easy for you to say when you are confident with flashing etc & already have the latest update.

Some of us are not willing to take the risk or are able to do it this way

well just like any other update you have 2 options

1) wait

or

2) flash

as simple as that.

Yes I know, but how long a wait is acceptable for you do you reckon?? Would it be simple for you to accept those facts if you were in the same postion?
