Network Mode selection

My Xperia P does not allow me to change my Network Mode from "WCDMA(preferred) /GSM" to GSM only.. The option is unavailable.

The battery life sucks. I have to recharge it twice a day. While using it, I can actually see the battery % going down every minute of use.

I have stopped using any widget. I dont use WIFI . Nor do I listen to music. The screen uses 60% of my battery.

When sony developed the Whitemagic technlogy, what did they have in their mind? Its such a useless thing.

With 1305 MAh Battery.. its a pathetic phone with the best features..

And the latest update doesnt help either.

I hope Sony comes up with a life changing update for this phone.

Have you bought your phone together or from a provider/operator? In that case that might be a part of the customization they have made on your phone and in your software.

What version software and what build no does your phone run? If you're not sure please check by going into Settings - About phone in the phones menu.
