Needs 5 hours for full charge(SP)

My Xperia SP needs 5 hours for full charge.My charger is 850 mah  is that a problem?

Mine need 2 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge from 5% to 100% .
Are you using the original given Sony Charger? Or are you using other charger?

850mAh too.But mine is the original charger from Sony,and when I charge,i turn off my phone.So how about you charging first with WiFi and Mobile Data OFF and second by charging it while OFF.

Okay,now.Its simple basically.If you charge your phone while its ON(and mobile data and wifi ON,too),it will drain 60%of the charge input.

For example,if the charging rate is 10% per hour,it would be just 4% per hour.

This is because,when you are charging,the phone automatically turns OFF Stamina Mode(it turns OFF if you turn Stamina Mode ON before charging,if before charging Stamina Mode is OFF,it will remain OFF).

When Stamina Mode is ON,your phone will constantly check for any notifications in the Internet.

Thus consuming more power.This slows down the charging rate.

Vice versa happens when you turn OFF Stamina Mode.

Hahaha. There is three kind of my charging process.First,by turning OFF your phone(Fastest).Second,charging with phone ON but with airplane mode ON(Medium).Third,with phone On but no mobile traffic or wifi.(Slowest).

Last but not last.NEVER charge your phone if the phone is hot.Let it cool down first(room temperature).Only then start charging as charging itself will generate heat.So this is just a precaution step to avoid any hardware problems.

Enable Stamina Mode

Switch to wifi when possible as wifi uses less power than cellular.

Switch off radios when not using them (bluetooth, gps, nfc)
