Hi there,

I'll assume you are using the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10™ as you've posted in this community. if you are using a different Xperia™ device, just let me know!

In order to forward and email or text (from the Email or Messages menu)  just tap and hold the message and look for "forward" (this is before you open the message), you may have to scroll down the list of options.

If you are using the Gmail application, open the message and scroll to the bottom for the foward option.

Hope this helps!

Hmmm, I suspect that may only be half the answer Jeff.  When forwarding an email, how do you add an email address to the  to the "To" field from the contacts list without having to re-type the whole address?  I have had my phone for 3 months and still havent worked it out.

Thanks

I've just tried forwarding an email on my X10a from my gmail account to test this.  When I do so, I start typing in the 'To' box, and email contacts with addresses or real names beginning with the letters I have typed show up in a box immediately below the 'To' box once I get to typing the second letter.  These can then be selected without typing the whole address  Does that not happen with yours?

The email address of the person whose message you're forwarding doesn't seem to show up, and I can't find a way to make it do so, but if there are previous messages in the forwarded text, any addresses included in earlier parts of the 'thread' will show up.
