NEED HELP ABOUT XPERIA L UPDATE!

Hi Guys! 

I need this badly. I was updating my phone and reached until the Update portion. Before it finishes, my laptop turned off. Now, my phone won't turn on. when i'm trying to turn it on a black screen is on the display. I tried restarting and taking off the batteries but nothing had work. Can you help me with this? What should i do?

I suggest that you try the following to try resolve this issue.

Make sure the handset is not connected to the PC when performing the below instructions.

To repair the phone software

1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support 

2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start. 

3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.

4.     Click repair phone.

5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

Charge it for 30min then restart the whole update process

Hi Jake, I've been trying to update using PC companion but its taking too long... Can u tell how much time it will take (approx) to update with avg net speed of 30-60 kbps

That will take many hours as the update its 500MB more or less
