my xperia sp not starting :(

when i charge the phone ..its led keeps on glowing red and it does not start ...what is the problem with it ? 😕

connect it to a wall charger and leave it for an hour and then press and hold power & volume up for 8 seconds

Please try following the below steps with the phone not connected to the PC at the start to reload the firmware with the phone powered off:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

If the software repair does not help then I can only advise that you return the phone so that it may be assessed by an authorised agent sorry.
